EACON 2026 takes place at the Afisyooni Tent in the Aden Adde International Airport zone — Mogadishu’s established venue for national and regional gatherings, minutes from the arrivals hall and inside a secured perimeter.

Plenary hall
Opening ceremony, keynotes, ministerial dialogues and the four pillar sessions, with simultaneous interpretation booths.
Roundtable rooms
Closed-door Executive Roundtables and Fireside Chat set-ups adjacent to the plenary.
Exhibition zone
Exhibitor stands on the route between the plenary, coffee and lunch areas.
Media room
Working space, power and Wi-Fi for accredited journalists; interview slots coordinated by the media desk.
Catering
Welcome coffee, lunches and breaks served on site on both days; the networking reception on the evening of 12 October.
Prayer room
Prayer facilities on site; the programme is scheduled around prayer times.
Connectivity
Conference Wi-Fi throughout the venue; local SIMs available at the airport.
Accessibility
Step-free access to the hall and exhibition zone; tell the secretariat in advance about any requirement.
Getting in
Arrival on the day
Come with the conference transport
Shuttles from partner hotels run to the venue each morning; private vehicles need prior clearance for the airport zone.
Gate screening
Security screening at the zone entrance. Have your conference badge and passport or national ID ready; allow 20 minutes.
Badge desk and welcome coffee
Badges not collected at your hotel are issued at the welcome desk from 08:00. Sessions begin at 09:00.
Large bags and equipment cases are subject to screening; media crews should register equipment with the media desk in advance.
