The first East African Community Conference
Mogadishu hosted the East African Community Conference for the first time in June 2024, weeks after Somalia’s accession to the EAC. Over 300 delegates from across the region laid the foundation for policy harmonisation, digital infrastructure and cross-border collaboration.
