Interviews
Requests for ministers, keynote speakers and organisers are coordinated by the secretariat; submit them before 5 October where possible.
Broadcast
Plenary sessions are streamed live; broadcasters can take the clean feed on site. Two-language audio (English, Somali).

The story in one paragraph
The East African Community Conference 2026 (EACON 2026) is the third edition of Somalia’s regional conference on its integration into the EAC. Under the theme “Deepening Somalia’s EAC Integration Through Treaty Domestication, Trade Competitiveness and Human Capital Development”, it convenes ministers, EAC institutions, investors, universities, civil society and young leaders in Mogadishu on 12–13 October 2026 to turn Somalia’s membership into measurable economic outcomes. The conference closes with the EACON 2026 Declaration. Photography, video and the live broadcast are produced by SIMAD Creative Studio.
