You now have additional time to refine your submissions and contribute to an important dialogue on regional integration, economic collaboration, and sustainable development within the East African Community (EAC).
Submission Details
To ensure a comprehensive and inclusive process, here are some crucial guidelines for your submission:
- Originality: Your paper should be original work, not previously published or under review elsewhere.
- Submission Deadline: Papers should be submitted by 1st May 2024.

- Author Information: Include your full names and affiliations in your submission email for identification and correspondence purposes.
- Review Process: EACON 2024 is committed to a fair and unbiased selection process through a double-blind review, ensuring the anonymity of both reviewers and authors.

- Notification of Acceptance: The conference’s editorial board will notify you by May 30th, 2024, regarding the acceptance or rejection of your paper.

The theme for EACON 2024 is “Strengthening Regional Cooperation in the East African Community.” Scheduled for June 24-25, 2024, in Mogadishu, Somalia, the conference invites discussions on several key areas, including:
